Germany's first nitrous oxide cleaning stage for a sewage sludge incinerator plant

Emissions are playing an increasingly crucial role in large incineration plants. The emission of nitrous oxide has been neglected so far. Since December, plants subject to the 17th Ordinance on the Implementation of the Federal Emission Control Act must now carry out an annual measurement. The CO2 equivalent of nitrous oxide is close to 300, which emphasizes its environmental harmfulness.

EfU is now planning the first thermal regenerative post-combustion in Germany to reduce nitrous oxide by 90%.
